Watching

Rain, specifically the lack thereof, has been the talk in Zihua since we returned from the United States, so tonight's downpour was very welcome, if short lived. We were safely ensconced in a downtown restaurant enjoying pizza when the storm hit. The streets cleared quickly, but in the neighboring apartments people came out in droves to watch what has so far been rare rain this season. This guy, across from our second story perch, was on his patio relishing the reduced humidity and suddenly cooler temperatures the rain (visible dripping off the out of focus awning in the foreground) brought. I liked the triangle of lighter sky in the upper left and the illuminated Virgin in the background as well.
