Sunbathing

A young Katydid sunbathing in the morning sun, a slight breeze swayed the clematis flowers, I guess it was similar to being on a hammock. Along came a honey bee buzzing around the top of the vine which made this little Katydid sit up from his sleepy state, he was no more than 3cm long as he arched his torso while his tiny eyes searched for the annoying honey bee. The bee soon flew away and the Katydid lowered his stance and resumed to sunbath amongst the flowers. I'll look out for him another day, I wonder if he favours one flower more than any others.

Just enjoying a lovely sunny day, not a cloud in the sky, 21C, quite hot working in the garden but the notorious winds are due back tomorrow.

Happy Tuesday everyone :)
