Liquid gold

The sun looked like liquid gold this afternoon as we travelled across the plains near Gunnedah.
It's been a long day involving multiple forms of transport and including a trip through customs and immigration since our flight from Melbourne to Sydney departed via the international terminal - no fun at all, especially with sore legs.
But so worth it! This half marathon adventure has been life changing and I can't wait to get to know the new me better. The one thing I am sure of is that I can achieve way more than I ever would have believed and I look forward to working towards a new challenge!
