Cowboys And Their Cattle

This is a "backblip" from our trip to Malheur NWR in southeastern Oregon.  After we left the Steens Mountain area, we headed up Hwy 205 going north back to Burns, where we ran into cowboys herding a group of cattle right down the highway.  Of course I had to get a photos....and then just a bit after that we ran into a cowgirl....how cool is that? 

The day was another very long day in the car driving from spot to spot, but we saw deer, hawks, prairie falcons, horses, cattle and just about everything in between!  It was our last full day in the area, and we thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the trip.
