Western Pennsylvania Vacation ......

Day 1.

Today is day 1 of our Western Pennsylvania vacation.  Since our destination is only about 3.5 hours from home we didn’t have to start out super early.  That made for a nice change of pace.
 
We are headed for Treasure Lake in DuBois, Pennsylvania where we will be spending the week with a side trip up to Canada for a blip meet in Mississauga, Ontario.  That drive will actually be longer than our drive to DuBois, PA!  But it will be worth it!
 
Other than a few pictures of Simba and Zazu taken before we left the house I only took a handful of pictures today.  On the drive to our vacation condo I was playing around taking pictures of the beautiful fall colors out the car window.
 
We arrived in DuBois around supper time and grabbed a quick bite before checking into our condo. As we drove around Treasure Lake to our condo I was excited to see some black squirrels! Yay! We don’t have this variety of Eastern Grey squirrel at home! I did take some pictures but by that time it was around dusk and the pictures were not great.
