Western Pennsylvania Vacation .....

Day 2.

We had a nice and relaxing morning with R cooking bacon and eggs for breakfast. Yum!

We had a few visitors in the way of squirrels and chipmunks (see extra #1).  I was thrilled to see these little chippies as mine at home will probably be in hibernation by the time we get home.

After getting ready we packed up lunch and headed for Bilger’s Rock in Grampian, PA, which isn’t too far a drive from our condo.  Once there we had to wander around a little bit in order to find the right way in to see the rocks. The maps were a bit confusing.  But it was worth it!  The place was amazingly beautiful with gorgeous rock formations amid thick, dark forest.  We spent a good couple of hours just enjoying the ambiance and taking lots of photos.  My second extra was my alternative for today’s blip …. I had a hard time deciding on which picture to use as my main blip.  The vignette you see here was as it was found .... I did not set it up like this.

We soon had to leave this beautiful place and head back to DuBois.  We did a little shopping and picked up a rotisserie chicken for our supper. We were back at our condo before too late and then enjoyed more wildlife (see extra #3).

Day 2 complete.
