Turn, Turn, Turn

Today nature was really showing off with its spectacular colors of the changing leaves. This particular tree is at the bottom of my street and I nearly missed my turn when I saw it.
Of course I had to take a picture since it was clearly at its peak for color. Another few days and most of these bright orange leaves will be on the ground.
I remember collecting leaves when I was a child and putting then all in a paper cup with some water as if to keep them alive. At first they looked like a beautiful bouquet of flowers. It wasn't too long before they turned brown and crispy. Since then I've learned to capture those bright colors in photographs and by painting them. I have much better results now.
