Ghana (day 19)

A better day.

The water was fixed. The generator was fixed - just as well - no grid electricity most of the day. 12 hours on and 12 off is about normal.

We know from the work we do how this impacts on businesses. Fuel for the generator is way more expensive than grid electricity.

I had a meeting at 8am at the fish/rabbit farm. There and back took us 75 minutes in the minivan, for a 25 minute meeting. For a trip to two of my clients it's a 2 hour round trip, even if we don't run into traffic congestion.

Deskwork for the rest of the day. Some for clients back home, and some for the project clients.

While looking for a Blip I spotted this girl heading home after school. You can sense the freedom after a day in the classroom. I'm looking forward to that feeling on Sunday morning.
