Nature's Paint

I am going to take part in California Girl's nature challenge - hoping I can just begin today and go for 7 days.  

There are more leaves on the ground now than on the trees, or at least it seems that way, but the colors are still wonderful.  Our back steps. 

Thank you all for the kind, caring comments for Sumner's photo yesterday. Your sentiments are much appreciated.  I haven't been very good about commenting this week, but hopefully the weekend will have more spare time - after these leaves get cleaned up!!
