Allotment poppy

Still not feeling great, but I had to go to the allotment after days of rain making it impossible.
I was originally intending just to dump the kitchen waste in the compost and top up the bird feeders...of course, as soon as I arrived there, I pulled up a couple of weeds, then a couple more, eventually spending almost 2 hours.
My stomach is not thanking me now. At least I harvested a few of the first broadbeans; not that I fancied cooking them for tea tonight...a little indigestible.
