Waddesdon Pumpkin

There were 1,000 pumpkins delivered this morning to Waddesdon Manor ready for the school half term activities next week!  I was asked to pop along to take some photos of the occasion.  All these pumpkins have to be hollowed out by staff before the children can use them next week - I haven't volunteered for that one!!

One staff member is very artistic and has carved an outline of Waddesdon Manor on a pumpkin - very clever.  Of course, this had to be photographed too!  It just had to be my blip for today.

I then spent a day as Warden within the House and had to ask one gentleman several times NOT to touch the items on display.... just what part of Please DON'T Touch did he not understand???
