What you see is about 1/5 of the surface of the moon that was visible tonight.

It's not as sharp as I would like due to me being bitten to death by flying nasties whilst trying to take this. Also, it was still daylight and trying to catch the moon in daylight with a telescope is a damn sight more difficult than you would first imagine.

I am having a well deserved glass of wine. Monday evening seems to have become the night I fall out with my child.
