Powergrid

A day of three halves.  Firstly, the B&B bit of cooking breakfasts (the W.H.O.'s warning of cancer from bacon et al didn't seem to be deterring anyone...) and saying goodbyes.  The afternoon saw a variety of work in the garden in preparation for an event on Wednesday.

The evening was the pleasant surprise.  We'd invited our longer-staying guests to join us in a game.  This would have been a lighter on had the children come, but as it was just the adults we went for Powergrid - a meaty game for anyone rather more familiar with Monopoly.  However, Emma and Ash grasped the game rather well and it was a pretty close finish.  I won, but I think that's the first time that's happened. 

I'm suspecting it won't happen on a second game with them.
