All set

for taking a picture, even with a tripod. As we had the carpet people in the house today, I had all my photo bags in the car and felt really lucky when I finally tonight wanted to take Maggie for her little second walk and saw this huge orange moon just above the mountain tops. So, I built it all up and Maggie waited patiently until I was done.
It was the first relaxing moment today. The stress of getting everything moved into the garage or into the yard was building up day by day and in the end it took us a bit of work to stay friendly with each other...Then, this morning, we could partly just let go, let things happen. The movers carried the last heavy furniture out and we got a little compliment of the carpet guy for our work. Then 3 very small Mexican workers managed to remove the old carpet and put the new one in, inclusive an undercarpet , and helped us put back at least the furniture of the second floor , so that we can sleep quietly tonight. 8 hours of work, no breaks, not even time for the coffee I made for them. and that for about 2250 square feet of carpet surface. Lots of little corners, closets etc. I am totally amazed.
And grateful that it is over. Now we have the whole winter to rearrange the stuff into our book cases, drawers, closets etc.
Thank you for your kind comments and stars for yesterdays bee with the glass wings...
