Splurging

I found this little finch in a tree full of red berries. It was hard to detect. As I looked at the many pictures that I had taken, I had to find out that it was half blind. One eye was missing.
How does a little finch loose one eye? So sad....(put it in the extras)

Thank you all for your kind reactions for the orange moon. Unfortunately there is not much time for visiting your journals at the moment. The new  carpet is in the house. Now I want to get as much stuff back into place before checking in for the surgery next Wednesday. Then, I might have a lot of time for commenting, if I will  have internet in the hospital.
