Dog Sitting

A colleague at the Hospice Shop asked if we'd look after her dog today as she was off to Oxford with friends. It's been a while since Dylan had died and we'd had anything to do with doggies but we had said we would be pleased to help her out whenever.

Buffy, a border terrier, was fine with us, especially as we were sitting at her house rather than coming to ours. We took her for a nice walk round Shottery this morning then left her to rest whilst we popped out to Nero. This afternoon she had a shorter walk then was happy to curl up by Ann's feet as we relaxed.

We think this dog sitting malarkey is quite a good compromise as we don't feel we're ready to have another dog yet, if ever. We're not planning as setting up as a business, just to help friends occasionally.
