Down Memory Lane

We left Hampshire this morning in bright sunshine after a fantastic week of adventures in the New Forest, in the Minor burns Unit of Lymington Hospital!;  on Brownsea Island and the Isle of Wight and which culminated in the last few days staying with Mr. T's #2 son, wife and two lovely young grandsons.  More adventures were had there.

It was a beautiful morning and this leafy lane didn't look at all like the dark road we travelled last evening when 2  Deer decided to leap over the hedge right in the path of our car.  One of the young Deer collided with the car and was badly hurt.  We phoned T's son to tell him what had happened and he came out and dealt with the poor young Doe - not a nice experience but it could have been so much worse, particularly if the deer had been a fully grown stag instead of such a pretty young Doe.

We're home safely now and have been to our local accident repair specialists who will, no doubt, give us the bad news about the car repair.  Suddenly the sun has gone in and the heavy rain has started.

On a lighter note I'm on wash load #3 and have cooked dinner!
