Busy day

Carys wanted to go to mass this morning so that she could serve on the altar and do all the jobs and "learn what to do Mummy." So Mummy made it happen and at the same time brought the average age in the congregation down by about 50%! Carys did very well and took it all very seriously and wants to do it again on a week day.

After that we did spellings, baked some delicious cookies, washed up. Walked to ballet, she did an hour exam prep class. We then walked to the pool, swam (it was hideously busy and a miserable experience) walked to get Will a birthday balloon, had coffee, walked to pick up parcels from Asda then Carys insisted we call the Daddy taxi rather than walk home!

Will was at N&P's for the day. He is very excited about tomorrow and very sweet about it too. All he has asked for is a case for his (play) camera, so he can take it out and some books. Bridget has come up trumps on the books and as for the camera case, I don't think he's going to be disappointed.
