WHITE WATER RAFTING!

Today we went white water rafting on the Kawarau River in New Zealand! We did around level 4 Rapids and it was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life! Due to rain, the water level was really high making the water extra rough. We even had a raft behind us flip over! When this happened our guides freaked out and were very worried for the swimming people's safety! One thing I've observed is that no matter what country you're from everyone can panic and worry. Everyone here and back home is worried about their job, future, and families. It makes me feel less nervous around all these strangers because it just reminds me that we are all human.
