Wonky lines

With no better offers on the cards today, I took myself off to visit the Riverside Museum in Glasgow for the first time.

Designed by architect Zaha Hadid it stands on the banks of the Clyde, on the site of one of the defunct shipyards, and houses the transport museum. I enjoyed wandering round amongst the old trams, steam engines, all sorts of road vehicles, and of course, with Glasgow's history of shipbuilding, umpteen models of ships.

Berthed right beside this spectacular building is the Tall Ship Glenlee which is reflected in the glass of the museum. I liked the way the ropes were distorted.

Friday again! Have a good weekend, blipmates.
