The Potato Harvest

10.9C starting dull, then a few light showers before a bright spell in the early afternoon. Better than expected. The forecast was for more rain through the middle of the day. Light breeze.

Some family history research this morning. Following a generation of a family forward in time through the mid 1800s today. Censuses are handy documents.

Maeve and I went for a walk after lunch. Enya on the Nano (The Celts and Shepherd Moons). The potato harvest was in full swing again. They will finish the field today. They have brought loads of mud out onto the roads too.

We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. We came back along the cycle path then carried on round in a long loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home.

P.S. So much better in large against the black !
