Glistening Cosmos

The day dawned with a very tired BB.  It was a struggle getting him out this morning, but somehow we made it to school with time to spare.  I headed off to meet a friend for a quick look in the shops and more importantly a cuppa and a blether.  The it was a dash back home to go and collect BB and the cello.  He still seemed tired, so we came home had lunch and he watched TV.  The sun eventually came out so I insisted that we go for a walk.  He was quite happy with this proposition as long as we passed the supermarket.  He looked out some money for the purchase of match attack football cards.

We had a lovely walk down to, and round by the river, then through the park to the supermarket when aforementioned items were purchased.  We have had a quiet evening.  TT has gone out whisky tasting.

Here is my first flower Friday entry, snapped near the edge of town in what has been a wonderful patch of flowers all summer and autumn.  It is currently dominated by these wonderful late-flowering cosmos.  The extras are two other things we spotted on our walk!  Had it not been flower Friday, one of these would have been my blip.
