Big Sur

What a day. A crazy hitchhiker, the astounding coastal highway, a tremendous hike in the Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, Californian condors, a beach full of elephant seals, swimming in the Pacific breakers of Los Osos and dinner at the Bayside Café, Morro.

I'm going to drive back north through Big Sur tomorrow, ending up on the flight back to Heathrow at 20.30 - and another dose of jet lag.
