NOVEMBER IS LUNG CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

A dear friend of the family had been diagnosed with lung cancer when she applied for a teacher's position. She was lucky that her lungs were checked out with an x-ray, otherwise it would have gone undetected. She had no symptoms, she is an athlete, 50 years young, very active. She was in chock when she got the diagnoses, how was this possible, living healthy, never smoked, exercised, a vegetarian and doing all the 'right' things. This can happen to all of us. She is now one of the spokesperson of the American Lung Association. In her honor I will post anything 'white' this whole month of November, so after the pink month of October, remember this is the white month of November. We have to get the message out!!!!
