Trick or Treat

Spent the morning at a Tai Chi workshop with the head of the Chen Family Tai chi—possibly “the most famous tai chi teacher in the world” (according to our Seattle disciple teacher)  He also does calligraphy so explained some of his work…  the very best thing I come away with from him is his voice which I can hear in my mind always saying  “calm……… down.”    Could be worse. ..... but it was very crowded and I can't do that all day long….
Extra of this very large morning session.. Chen Xiao Wang is in the red t-shirt, our Embrace the Moon teacher in white, next to him..

So Halloween wins the blip… A tradition of going to the local shopping center to get treats from all the venders— we missed this last year..it’s a great place to see lots of creative costumes.   Alas, Our kids (except for Fiona) are too old for this now so this might be the last, and even so we are missing Oskar and his Dad who are at Oskar’s football game.    It wasn’t supposed to rain at this hour, but yes it rained,.,
Have to record the “queen of the monsters” (looking suspiciously like the grim reaper to me!) a beanie baby dinosaur, and the scariest of all, a zombie solder.  Be sure to look at the extra with The dinosaur and Queen of the monster’s physical therapist Mom who has been wearing her costume to work and to the gym!

And the whole chaotic shopping center scene complete with umbrellas in the rain on flickr.
