Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

The SAM B

A busy but most enjoyable day ...  Went with some good friends to the Nordic heritage museum for a Sunday afternoon concert of an unfamiliar composer to me . Danish Carl Neilsen.. Early 20th C string quartet - I'll be looking for a recording now, very energetic and colorful music.     Viewed the Ivar exhibit at the museum first... A Seattle icon , Ivar Haglund., a Swedish musician and entrepeuner , and the history of his aquarium , radio show, and many seafood restaurants in this area ( the salmon house where we had our recent family dinner is his inspiration) ..was a great tribute.
"Keep clam and eat at Ivar's"
And after, a lovely Italian dinner nearby ( no " Ivar's Acres of Clams for us today:-))
-what a great day catching up with good friends M and B.
One of those days I think I'll skip blip....but  out for a morning walk in the rain , H said take a picture of this tug there in for some repairs at the boatyard...we always like to see what boats are here and are happy to have some working docks so here you get another lake Union photo after all.....a nice rainy day for the 1st of November.
