Skull Carving with Broken Headstones

... and Colourful Leaves
(title box not long enough)

14.4C a lovely sunny crisp Autumn day. Light breeze.

Grocery shopping this morning at Sainsburys and in M&S at City Quay/Gallagher Retail Park in Dundee then we got Maeve the Deerhound from the car and had a walk up to the Howff. It was a very pleasant day for a walk and when we got to the Howff the sun was out and the trees and the leaves on the ground were bright with Autumn colour. Apothecary7 had had the idea to go to the Howff to look for spooky dereliction amongst the headstones and tombs and we found plenty of suitable headstones but I think the light was too good for spooky shots. I chose to look for a good skull carving with broken headstones and surrounded by colourful leaves.

We walked back to the car the way we usually go and were surprised to find the Oxfam shop open. One calendar for next year and a book each later we went along to City Square and back along High Street and back to the car.

Rugby League on the telly later. England v New Zealand.
The F1 qualifying highlights were on late last night so I didn't watch, but I might watch the race highlights later if I haven't heard the result.

P.S. Possibly spooky in large against the black :-)
