VIEW INTO THE VALLEY AT DUSK

Happily enough we had the laziest Sunday since a long time.
The weather so beautiful and we felt we had earned a day of simply doing only what we liked to do. And that happened to be reading, day-dreaming, looking into the valley, sitting on the balcony, etc.
We did not go for a walk!!
When the dusk set in I took a photo of the coloured tree at the other side of our street, with a white house beneath it.

My haiku:

When my legs start to
Complain, I better listen
To what they have to say

Legs or arms, or back, it does not matter, resting has to be the motto.

And the proverb:

To give leg bail.

(= to run away, decamp)

1774 Fergusson,  Poems.
