Popping the popple berries

Actually I don't know this shrub's proper name, but I've always called it a popple bush .  I used to show my son how when you picked a few off and lightly stepped on them with your shoe they would make a little "pop".  I'm hoping to show this to Zeke or that his "DaDa" will pass this little delight on to him...keep the tradition of popping them going forward:)
