Foggy Day

It was misty when I left home to spend a couple of hours in my office in Dunoon and then sea mist hid both sides of the river crossing the Clyde later on my way to a meeting of the Rural Affairs Committee .

There was low cloud obscuring the wind turbines at Elvanfoot as I passed on the M74 and it was dreich and drizzly in Dumfries where the meeting was being held.

On the road north this evening I drove in and out of rolling banks of fog and now back here in Edinburgh there is a thick haar.

It all amounts to the same thing of course - a predominantly grey day .
