Fright Train

Halloween night proved hugely popular at the Steam Railway with trains running through the dark countryside to the outer stations where ghouls were haunting the platforms, although they didn't seem to be scaring the kids on board too much. One of them appears in the extras.

Many of the passengers turned up in elaborate costumes and really entered into the spirit of Halloween enjoying the spookily lit stations with even the engine drivers in ghoulish make up.

This is only the second year that Fright Night has been run by the railway and looks certain to become a regular fixture.
