the travelling sketchbook exhibition...

...currently on display at our community/school library.

Created by Propel Youth Arts WA and part of the KickstART Festival, 100 small sketchbooks are sent out to schools and communities around the state.
Participants are between the ages of 12 and 26 and fill the books with drawings, words, collages, stories in pen, paint, prints, torn paper and more before returning them.
An exhibition of the sketchbooks is part of the annual Youth festival and then they travel through the state, exhibited at various libraries.
GREAT idea and a fantastic physical archive for the future.
