Hawthorn Berries

The hawthorn in the hedge at the bottom of the garden is covered in berries at the moment. It seems to be a good year for berries all round - I hope that isn't a portend of a bad winter to come. The wood pigeons and blackbirds seem to be the first to be tucking in to this bounty - the smaller birds are still taking advantage of the sunflower seeds in the feeders.
