Autumn

A beautiful time of the year. Trying to soak up as much of the autumnal beauty as I can. Went for a very quick but mindful walk at lunchtime today. The colours were lovely and it was quiet as there were hardly any tourists about.

Three South American girls were giggling as they took pictures of each other in the slightly drizzly conditions. There were some Japanese tourists watching the ducks feeding and I was walking down a small, empty riverside path which was literally lit with bright yellow leaves that had fallen. Thinking about it now it was rather yellow brick roadish! I don't use my lunchtime enough to relax as I often work through. I hope to make some changes with that.
