A bit of English Heritage

I spent the morning in a school in Fleetwood working with pupils to review the new plans for their school building development. They are about 7 months behind schedule because English Heritage made objections to the submitted plans. The school is a beautiful red-brick building from 1902 with stunning architectural features and is a listed building. English Heritage have given the OK to the latest plans and they were going before the planning committee today.

I decided to drive home via Cleveleys (where I had my lunch on the prom) and then through Blackpool. I wonder how English Heritage would feel about this place?
