Autumn at Home

We're home. We managed to catch an earlier Bellingham flight and were in bed by midnight instead of landing then. It was great to be home and to see my brother Steve who picked us up at the airport.

Today was a very busy one. We picked up our bags at the airport. (They were on the later flight.) and we got Arvin's new glasses. He sees much better than before and that makes us both happy.

I spent the long morning unpacking, tossing out most of the mail, getting things in the house back in order. The house-cat sitter did a great job and things looked relaxedly good. I would ask Mindy to sit again.

We picked up Helena at two for an appointment and shopping before an early dinner at Jalepeno's. Now we are heading to bed. Busy day tomorrow. Arvin will be back to his "big group" and I have a prep appointment for next week's eye surgery. It is a very simple procedure so the apt tomorrow should be simple too.

The extra is Arvin catching up on the newspapers from our trip time. You can see the orange tree behind him that is the source of the leaves in my blip photo.
