Can you see her frown? Oh YES...Mum not having any of it but being patience personified as she was heckled and harassed her young chick! Not so very young and not so very small either as he stretched his long neck upwards to her beak demanding to be fed!!

Great blip meet with HareBrain this afternoon at Slimbridge but as we both acknowledged of all the days we could possibly have met this year, this was the worst. Drizzling and then tipping down with rain the only option was to have a cuppa and hope it stopped. In the end we headed for the flamingo enclosure which was covered so we could at least get something on camera. My goodness it was shocking and I ended up looking like a drowned rat!! However lovely to meet Hb at last after all these blips :)
