Speed

It's hard to know when panning cyclists whether to focus on the rider, the bike frame or the  tyres.   I opted for the faces and as a result I'm quite pleased with the way the moving legs show just how fast he is going.

I marshaled the "Source to the Sea" race again today.  It starts at St Arnaud (Lake Rotoiti) and the riders cycle the 150km the length of the Buller River to Westport.  This is the last year that they'll be holding this race, and they have a slightly different finish this year as Carter's Beach is full of soldiers involved in the Defence Force exercise.

I was on stationed on Iron Bridge down the Buller Gorge.  A bit of fun as usual.  Fascinating to see how rude some drivers can be, but how totally considerate others are.
