U2; Innocence (+Experience)

First night of U2 at the Hydro in Glasgow.

Hard to find the right words. I've loved them for over 30 years - my formative music obsession as a teen and as I've grown.

They didn't disappoint - if anything they exceeded expectations. Visually and technically stunning yes, but more importantly emotionally powerful - moving and uplifting. I cried - a lot.

Back again tomorrow night for the second show. Cannot wait.
