Nature's fireworks

After a morning of unrelenting heavy rain, which I used to make a batch of pear and walnut chutney, the clouds parted to reveal an exceptionally warm and sunny afternoon. I went for a walk round Old Sulehay, hoping for some more fungi, but there was surprisingly little about. The glorious light, burnishing the intensely copper bracken, was adequate compensation.
