it was the best of times, it was the worse of . .

Okay so like we spent the past two or so weeks in London, checking on Steffi (and living to regret the "intrusion" in her day-to-day) as well as doing OAP stuff; you know going to the Victoria & Albert, walking (shopping) on Regent Street, gawking at the tourist class (while being part of same) tripping out to Greenwich (1st time) lunching at Covent Garden and experiencing the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace among many, many, MANY other things - normal - people do when in Londontown

(including standing next to a - silent - sentry at Horse Guards and being photographed)

And well, all and all, (admittedly I might add) the town's alright for sight-seeing, in fact as a tourist destination, it's right up there with the best of them.

The underground however - oye vay - not recommended, if you can, take the water-taxi to flit about, or maybe one of those double-decker transports
