Hallo Scones!

Gollum got to meet Scones the Guinea Pig again today. He is quite friendly with the Guinea Pigs, but he turnes into a sheepdog, when he is close to them and stare at them with an intense look as if he thinks he can get them to move with his eyes. No sign of agression whatsoever - he just goes into herding mode. Guineas Pigs are not really like that though and they do not seem impressed. No way they will move just because he wants them to! :-)

Golllum's Uncle Hero is very gentle with the Guinea Pigs. He will "kiss" them and cuddle them (as far as a dog is able to cuddle a Guinea Pig). I don't think Gollum will ever be like that, but that's ok. As long as he doesn't hurt them, which he doesn't.

I will continue to let them meet regularly as Gollum grows up, so he will be safe to have around the Guinea Pigs also when he is a big grown up dog. 

The Guinea Pigs live in an open cage and the dogs can get to them if they wish to, so it is important to me, that I can trust that the dogs won't hurt the piggies. So far I am not worried :-)
