Tiny Tuesday - Gold

Well not real gold anyway- but a piece of ric-rac ribbon from Mrs madwill's collection!

Photographed with my 100mm macro lens and a full set of extension tubes! Had real trouble getting a clear shot as our floorboards move and so the tripod was wobbling (not much but enough to wreck a macro shot). I finished up setting the 10 second timer and running off into the kitchen after pressing the shutter! Another bug bear of macro photography seems to be dust - of which we have plenty with two dogs around! I did try to pull some hair off this piece with a pair of tweezers!

It was very warm out today - and all this recent warm/wet weather has encouraged the grass to grow - and so today it had its second 'final cut' of the season! Let's hope it is the last.
