Dentist again

Marley had the dentist this morning first thing which meant we left early as there was a lot of traffic for race day.

He was sedated for the dental work, just with laughing gas but it really relaxes him.

I dread watching everything while they do stuff - the needle in his gum, the drilling ugh.

But what they did today was fill a small hole in between his baby teeth, the last time he was here they did similar but in top teeth. I asked does it not seem pointless to fill a hole in baby teeth when they're going to fall out, the dentist said but seeing as he hasn't yet even begun to lose teeth it could a good couple of years before the teeth that they fixed fall out so better to get it while its very small. 

We have another visit in 2 weeks to do preventative work on his permanent teeth.

Mar is so good , he listens and does what they ask him to do. It was a lot quicker this time round but  afterwards he was a little more woozy, the dentist said they kept the gas up until the end whereas they usually start to turn it down 20 minutes before they're finished so just to watch him so he doesnt fall.

Marley was very quiet all day he sat with a blanket on the couch most of the day, this afternoon we noticed his lip that was next to his teeth they did the work on was really swollen, Not sure if he bit it while it was numb but it looks painful and  on the inside it looks especially sore. 

Tonight its still swollen, he hasn't complained about it but still very red.

After the dentist this morning we took kanye to school, his teacher said hes been a bit out of sorts recently and not all there and wonders if his new medication is affecting him and his behaviour. 


Andre had the day off today so we spent the afternoon relaxing and cleaning up. 

The boys were really fighty tonight after dinner, just really in each others faces and purposely annoying one another. 

Luckily they were all in bed by 7, Harper missed his nap so was out to it and Kanye was tired so was asleep by 7 too. Mar fell asleep around 730 tired from the dentist stuff. Glad they were all in bed early , i think they needed it.

This week is very here and there, so much on!
