Yellow poppy

This simple blip was taken on a dreich day at the entrance to *Chateau Freuchie.

I don't know the name of the cute little lilac flower, which is past its best now, but it grows in the cracks of the old wall surrounding the garden. The wrought-iron gate adds a bit of interest.




* I was going to call it Castle Freuchie, but realised there may well be one in Freuchie in Fife... and there is! :-)
