Polney Loch

Storm Abigail is due to strike the UK today but this morning this was difficult to believe on the tranquil shores of this little Perthshire loch hidden in the Atholl Woods. This is first storm to be officially named by the Met Office. It's set to bring winds of up to 90 mph across the far north of Scotland tonight. 
The extra photo is yours truly (using the self timer on the camera - balanced on a mossy rock) as I stride (apparently!) through Atholl Woods.
