Studley Royal Lake

A busy day with our granddaughter! A lot of playing after breakfast and then we went to Fountains Abbey / Studley Royal, taking along the two dogs as well!

We walked from the deer park all the way up to abbey and back then stopped for a bite to eat in the cafe.

This was the scene as we left the cafe - the sun just beginning to disappear from over the lake in the deer park. Shortly after this it clouded over and the wind began to get up.

A stop at the supermarket in Boroughbridge on the way home and then more play before tea. Then off to bed around 7 p.m.

Trying to upload this on Friday 13th - what a frustrating blip day. At least we have it back by teatime!
