Autumn Mist

Driving home today in steady misty rain I did not hold out a lot of hope for a decent picture. There were flooded fields and the River Earn in Perthshire had burst its banks. However a handful of shots of these murky scenes, captured as a passenger, did not really cut the mustard. Nearer home I was able to grab the muted colours in this landscape, with farmhouse and the Stirlingshire forest beyond in the mist. 
The extra photo is also on a rural theme  - an unusual shot of a tractor and trailer with hay, bagged in pink plastic, passing on a very puddly country road. Despite the damp, soggy weather farmers are not putting their feet up yet. This is my 100th extra, so until January it is definitely only one a day!
