Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Book art

On our way to the island, we stopped in Bellingham and met blipper Connections at the Lightcatcher Museum for a look at the book arts exhibit. Lots of fabulous constructions . This is a pop up carousel book by an artist from Cheshire, England, Paul Johnson. We were taking a picture from 2 sides of the showcase. Then a fabulous coffee and chat at the Black Drop and we were on our
way to Tsawwassen over the border in Canada to do some grocery and wine shopping and spend the night before catching the ferry in the morning. There are things we can't bring across the border so it's great to shop there. ( it's all so silly!) Very civilized trip. Hope the wind dies down a bit... But today was gloriously sunny.
Thanks, Connections, great fun to see you briefly.. ( and your cookies were wonderful!)
Can't manage any links on the iPhone :-(. I wish I could link you to connection's blip as she has much more info about this exhibit and the other side of this piece....(you could click on her comment below to get there:-))
