Cygnets Model Boat Club, Mote Park

Cygnets Model Boad Club have appeared in my blips before. This is the sailing boat section and is much more suited to the ambience of a Sunday than the Boy Racer sessions with flash speedboats that rend the air asunder and pollute the atmopsphere with rank fumes on a Saturday morning. There  must also be another section of the club that specialises in proper model boats too, like tugs, working boats and the like that operate using quiet electric motors and are lit up in the evening dusk.

We walked into town solely for the purpose of having a coffee, made the mistake of visiting the new Starbuck. Too austere and spartan for our taste and a long wait. I think it will be a long time before we go back there and add to their corporate profit haul.

Spent the afternoon on the computer helping Susan to try and select a photobook option to create a book recording her Mum's 90th birthday and her life. What a palaver. Took most of the afternoon and ended up basically where we started.
